Today we donated 150 loom knitted hats and 2 crocheted blankets to the Salvation Army Coat Drive here in Chambersburg Pa. After some hand surgery I don't crochet much anymore but recently have started loom knitting helping Frank make hats. I will be trying to crochet more on the blankets soon. As we are getting close to our 80's things have slowed down for us as our health is slowing us down. We will keep going and as long as we can hold the hooks.
Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12778819932306082151noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8309633112221775377.post-51726965046022189772021-11-03T07:49:00.000-07:002021-11-03T07:49:00.532-07:00133 Loom Knitted Hats Donated
Last week we donated 133 of Frank's loom knitted hats to the Salvation Army Coat Drive for Kids here in Chambersburg. I have mostly given up on crocheting baby blankets but work some on crocheting little pet blankets. I am have lots of trouble with my right wrist. Also 2 of our local hospitals have stopped accepting baby things. It it too costly to ship. I have taken up a new hobby of diamond painting.
Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12778819932306082151noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8309633112221775377.post-2794712996196967002021-01-25T06:09:00.001-08:002021-01-25T06:09:20.646-08:00
Here are a couple baby blankets I have crocheted in the past couple of weeks. We have had some health issue this summer and haven't done much with yarn. I have gout in my right wrist and can't crochet at all. Frank is still having issues with both his hands with dermatites so he isn't doing much with yarn either. we have taken up a new hobby, diamond painting, which we both love. Right now I can't do any but Frank can. I really miss my crochet. I have been reading a lot, not much else I can do. Hopefully I can get back to crocheting soon.

Karenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12778819932306082151noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8309633112221775377.post-57731420786343227102020-08-24T06:19:00.001-07:002020-08-24T06:23:38.711-07:00Stitched Up Jigsaw Puzzle Blanket
I saw this baby blanket on Etsy and had to make it as Frank and I are always working jigsaw puzzles.
