Toddler Sweater

I crocheted this sweater for the little guy I baby-sit for. He will turn 2 Dec. 18th. I crocheted a size 2, but the sweater turned out too big for him. It will have to be put away until next winter. I got the pattern form the www.redheart.com.

44 Items donated to local hospital

We just donated 4 baby blankets and 40 preemie and new born hats to our local hospital,
Waccamaw Community Hospital, here in South Carolina. I have kept track of how much we spend for shipping and monetary donations this past year and have come very close the the $500 mark. So we have decided to donate more locally to save on shipping charges. $500 will buy a lot of yarn! We will still donate to a couple of our favorite charities but maybe not so much or so often.

Christmas Dress

Here is my latest Christmas dress with matching slippers for a newborn baby girl. I must say I am disappointed in the size it turned out to be. Quite large for a newborn. I used an F hook like the pattern called for and I have made this dress before so not sure what happened this time. It will be donated to Gods Tiny Angels. It is a purchased pattern from Just Crochet.

Preemie Hats

Frank loom knitted 24 preemie hats this past week and we shipped them to Riverside Hospital in Va. this morning. Also we shipped a box of 12 pink slippers, a box of 60 hats to the Bridge and Beyond Project and a box of 68 baby items to Gods Tiny Angels.
