Here is another baby blanket I finished up last night. Getting started on donations for 2015.

Gingham Cowl

Well here is the gingham cowl I made for myself. I am so pleased how it turned out. I sort of used the gingham pattern I used for the baby blanket I crocheted a couple weeks ago. I made it about 61 inches long then connected the two ends. It goes around my neck twice.

25 loom knitted baby hats

Here is Frank's latest baby hats. We will be making our last donation of the year this week of 42 items for a total of 690 hats and baby things donated for 2014.

Two Sweater Sets and Joey

Here are two sweater sets I crocheted this week. When I laid them out on the bed to take a picture, our cat Joey decided he wanted in the picture also.

Gingham Baby Blanket

Here is another gingham baby blanket I finished this week. I used Anne Geddes baby yarn and an f hook. I like this one so much I think I will crochet myself a scarf with these colors.

Donation Today

The Girl Scouts had a donation box at Planet Fitness today to collect warm clothing for a local shelter so we donated Frank's 38 hats there this morning when we went for our work out.

Here is a granny square baby blanket I finished just before Thanksgiving. It started out as another pattern but I didn't like it so tore it up and did this granny square.

Here is another baby blanket I did in yellow using Lions Brand Pound of Love yarn. This one went very fast and I love the shell edging.

Granny Daisy Baby Blanket

I just finished crocheting this baby blanket. I used a pattern I found on the web, but made some changes. It called for triple crochet puff stitches but I used double crochet reverse popcorn stitches instead. I love the way it turned out.

Shell Baby Blanket

Here is another baby blanket I just finished today. It will help keep some little baby warm this winter. I used Pound of Love yarn with an H hook.

Pretty Squares Baby Blanket

I am getting to like crocheting squares and sewing them together for a pretty baby blanket. They seem to go so fast. I used all Pound of Love yarn and  I used an I hook to make the 6" squares.

Pink Puffs Baby Blanket

I enjoyed crocheting this baby blanket. I used Pound of Love yarn and a H hook.

Seaside Squares Baby Blanket

For this baby blanket I used Lions Brand Pound of Love yarn in mint green. I usually don't crochet patterns where I have to sew squares together but this one went really fast and was fun to do. I just might have to make another one soon.

It was a fun pattern to crochet and went very fast as I was listening to a book on CD while I crocheted it.

Yellow and White Round Ripple Baby Blanket

I used Red Heart Anne Geddes Baby yarn for this baby blanket. The color is called Bumble. Also used a G hook.

251 Items Donated

We made two large donations today. Some baby things to our local hospital and hats and scarves to the local Salvation Army Coats for Kids Drive. Now our tubs are empty so it is time to start over again filling them up.

Blue and White Baby Blanket

I just finished crocheting this baby blanket using a couple of my favorite stitches. The twin stitch and popcorn stitch. I used no pattern and made it up as I went along. I think it turned out very nice.

Here is another baby blanket finished. I used Pound of Love Yarn and a H hook. This was not a fun blanket to crochet as I had to change color on every row and that is a lot of ends to weave in. But the end result was very nice.

After starting this baby blanket over a week ago, I finally finished it this morning. I got side tracted a couple of times when I picked up my knitting needles to see if I could still knit. Well, I found I could still knit but it is so slow going compared to crocheting. I will stick to my crochet hook.

50 Baby Items Donated Today

Frank and I donated 50 baby items this morning to a local Pregnancy Miniastries program here in Chambersburg, Pa. Blankets, hats, diaper sets and cuddle sacks with matching hats.

Here is another cuddle sack and hat set I just finished. I used Baby Bee Baby Boucle yarn from Hobby Lobby. Since moving to Pa. three weeks ago we now have many places to buy yarn, Joann's, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Walmart all with 3 miles from where we live and AC Moore is about 25 miles away. Haven't checked to see if there are any LYS in the area yet.

On May 31st we made a major move to Pa. We have been busy unpacking and getting settled into our new home. I have had no interest in crocheting as I have been so very tired. I decided I wanted to try something new so I watch a video on how to crochet a towel topper. I got these 2 done and now I am ready to start crocheting baby things again.
