I am really loving this pattern and I have it memorized now so it goes really fast. I used Pound of Love yarn with a g hook.

Donation Day

We delivered 55 baby items to our local hospital today and Frank is donating 50 hats to Planet Fitness who are collecting items for shelters by one of the local girl scout troupes. That is almost 700 items donated this year. Now to start on next year.

We finished this afghan for our grandson Damon who lives in SD. We now have one more afghan to make for our step-granddaughter. She has not told us what colors she wants yet. In the mean-time I will be crocheting an afghan for our neighbors for Christmas.

Rainbow Afghan for Grandson

Frank and I worked like beavers crocheting this afghan for our grandson Erick. Same colors we did for granddaughter but litter different pattern in the ripples. Now we need to hear from grandson Damon to see if he wants a new afghan.

Rainbow Colored Afghan for Granddaughter

Frank and I took turns crocheting this rainbow colored afghan for our granddaughter Briana who requested it. Says she out grew the one we made her when she was smaller. She is 21 now so guess she deserves a bigger one. And after our 22 year old grandson Erick saw it he wants one too.We used Red Heart yarn and it measures about 52" x 65".

It has been awhile since I crocheted a granny square blanket so I make this one using worsted 8 yarn from Herrschners.

This baby blanket is called Merry-Go-Round. I used Pound of Love yarn and a H hook. It measures 35" across. I received the pattern free from Herrschners when I placed a large order of yarn.

Here is a pic of Frank with 300 hats he loom knitted. We donated these hats to the Salvation Army Coats For Kids Clothing Drive here is Chambersburg Pa. today. Also we donated 60 baby items to one of our hospitals near here.

Here is another baby blanket I finished this morning. I use Pound of Love yarn an a Hook. No pattern, I just did 2 rows of double crochet then 2 rows of the cross X stitch repeating these 4 rows.

Here is my one Halloween donation for this year. A Candy Corn baby blanket. I use a 12-point round ripple pattern and the yarn is from Herrschners. A Worsted 8 Baby Yarn. I also used a H hook. This blanket will be donated next week to one of our local hospitals.

This yarn is called Blueberry from Stitch Studio by Nicole. No written pattern. I placed 3 dc in a group and skipped 2 stitches. It went very fast.

I just finished this baby blanket last night. It takes extra yarn to make the puff stitches

This is a fun pattern to crochet and it goes very fast. I used Pound of Love yarn in Antique White and a g hook. I thought it needed something so I did the trim in purple.

Mint Green Blanket and Hat and Booties

I crocheted these items for my neighbor for here to give to a new mommy where she works. I used the twin stitch pattern and Pound of Love yarn and a g hook. The blanket is about 34"x34".

Christmas in September

Frank and I got a head start on our Christmas donations this year. I crocheted 2 cuddles sacks with matching hats and Frank loom knitted 13 baby hats.

Here is my first attempt on making a C 2 C baby blanket. It is about 21 inches square. I had trouble with the edging so it is a little  puckered. I had to watch a You Tube video to learn how to do a c2c.

Grape Cuddle Sack with Matching Hat

I crocheted most of this cuddle sack set yesterday when I took my neighbor to have a  Colonoscopy done yesterday. It really helped the time fly by. The color is called Grape and the yarn is from Mary Maxim. I finished it up last night later at home.  My turn to go in Thursday to have an Upper Endoscopy done. I have a dry cough that just won't go away.

Donation Day

We donated 52 baby items to our local hospital this morning.. Blankest, hats sweater sets and cuddle sacks. Two of the nurses really got excited seeing everything..

Cookies and Cream and Banana Split Cuddles Sacks

Here are two more cuddle sacks with matching hats. The yarn in Lion Brand Ice Cream and the colors are Cookies and Cream and Banana Split. Now I will go and crochet on blankets for awhile.

I never share things like this but this baby is the grandson of Dannette of Gods Tiny Angels and they could really use the help right now. So if you donate to charities, this is a wonderful cause. Dannette has done so much with Gods Tiny Angels, it is time to give back a little something. Thank you!

This is Aiden.

                He is 14 months old and for the last 2 months he has been running high fevers upto 104.5 with no explanation yet.  Due to this he has been sent out of state to one hospital which couldn’t figure out what was causing this condition.  He now is being treated at nationwide childrens in columbus and is on his 4th trip there.  They have been doing extensive testing with no answers upto this point.  Due to having to miss work to make these appointments his mother was terminated from her job.  His father  due to being a newer employee at his job has exhausted what little vacation time he had and has missed a lot of work with no pay in order to be there for Aiden.  Now as well as Aiden needing help so does his parents as they are at a major financial loss due to the loss of income and having to travel out of state to all these appointments.  They have no money to pay there bills or buy food there very proud people and would never ask for help on there own So I am asking for them any and all help would be greatly apprecitated.

Two Cuddle Sacks With Matching Hats

While in West Virginia last week, we went to AC Moore and I got some yarn I had never seen before. It is called Picnic by Nicole at Stitch Studio. The colors are Strawberry and Grapes. It is a light 3 ply yarn and works up nicely. I used the twin stitch pattern and a g hook. I will be getting some more of this yarn next time we are near an AC Moore store. I have a Hobby Lobby, Joann's, Michaels and of course Walmart within 1 mile from where we live but  AC Moore is 25 miles away in MD.
