Here are 2 more cuddle sacks with matching hats. Again I used Mary Maxim Baby Blankie yarn (I bought a lot of it). The color is Citrus Fruits and I used a g hook.

12 Point Round Ripple Baby Blanket

Here is another baby blanket I finished a few days ago. The yarn is from Lion Brand called Mandala. The color is Pixie. It is a soft 3 ply yarn. This blanket will be nice for a new baby in the Spring and Summer months.

40 Hats Donated This Week

Frank donated 40 of his loom knitted hats to the Cold Weather Shelter here in town this week. I forgot to get a picture taken. We donated about 425 hats and baby items this year. Now working on next year's donations.

First Heartbeat Blanket

I just finished this baby blanket. It is a kit from Mary Maxim. It is rated intermediate and it was quite difficult to do, but I keep at it and figured out the pattern. Did a little frogging along the way but I will make it again some day.

Here are two more cuddle sacks with matching hats. Again I used Mary Maxim Baby Blankie yarn. The color is Bluebells. As I donate to more than one hospital, I don't mind making two of the same from the same big skein of yarn. Also I used my twin stitch pattern with a g hook.

125 Crocheted and Loom Knitted Red Baby Hats

 

Frank and I are donating these 125 red baby hats to hospitals here in Pa.  for the American Heart Association in awareness of Congenital Heart Defects for the month of February. We are doing this in honor of our daughter Lisa Marie who was born and died from a heart defect in 1967. Here is another baby blanket using Mary Maxim yarn. The color is Melon and I used a g hook. I ordered a lot of yarn from Mary Maxim and it is fun to use these new colors. I don't want to stop crocheting.

Two Cuddle Sacks With Matching Hats

Here are my latest cuddles sacks with matching hats. I used Mary Maxim's Baby Blankie yarn with a g hook. The color is Apple Blossom. The two sets I made are almost identical as they came from the same large skein of yarn. It take about 350 yards to make one set.

Blue and White Granny Square Baby Blanket

I was thinking I had not done a granny square blanket for a long time to I picked two shades of blue and one of white and crocheted 49 squares for this baby blanket. I used Hobby Lobby Baby Bee Sweet Delight yarn and a g hook. I tried single crochet to hook the squares together but I didn't like the looks of it so sewed all the squares together with the mattress stitch.

Donation Day

Today we donated 60 baby items to our local hospital. There were baby blankets, snuggle sacks,  diaper sets, booties and hats.
