Last week we donated 133 of Frank's loom knitted hats to the Salvation Army Coat Drive for Kids here in Chambersburg. I have mostly given up on crocheting baby blankets but work some on crocheting little pet blankets. I am have lots of trouble with my right wrist. Also 2 of our local hospitals have stopped accepting baby things. It it too costly to ship. I have taken up a new hobby of diamond painting.

After not crocheting for several months due to tendinitis in my right wrist I have crocheted a couple baby blankets, a sleep sack with matching hat and along with Frank several pet blankets. Along with our new hobby of diamond painting, it has been slow going but it feels great to get some crocheting done.

Frank loom knitted these 30 hats and will be donated this week to the Salvation Coat Drive for Kids. We have had some health issue this summer and haven't done much with yarn. I have gout in my right wrist and can't crochet at all. Frank is still having issues with both his hands with dermatites so he isn't doing much with yarn either. we have taken up a new hobby, diamond painting, which we both love. Right now I can't do any but Frank can. I really miss my crochet. I have been reading a lot, not much else I can do. Hopefully I can get back to crocheting soon.

I saw this baby blanket on Etsy and had to make it as Frank and I are always working jigsaw puzzles. The pattern was well written and it was a fun one to make. I used Pound of Love yarn and a g hook. The pattern can be found here... https://www.etsy.com/listing/731190853/stitched-up-jigsaw-blanket-us-terms?ref=hp_opfy_buyer_promise-3

This was a fun pattern to crochet. I really enjoyed working on this baby blanket. The pattern is from Pretty as a Picture Filet Afghans. I used Bernat baby sport yarn with a f hook. I made a few changes to the pattern and I love how it turned out. It measures about 33 x 33 inches.
