I won 3 auctions from the same seller on Ebay and got 84 skeins of yarn for a little over a $1.00 a skein. Frank will now have plenty of yarn to loom knit more hats.

Upgraded our Goal Totals

I just shipped a box of 22 sweaters and 22 hats to Gods Tiny Angels this morning and it bumped out total donations up to 632 for this year, fast reaching our goal of 800. As we have 6 months left I decided to raise our goal to 1000 donated items. I know we can do this!

Blue Cross Stitch Sweater and Hat Set

I crocheted this sweater and hat set today using the cross stitch pattern. I add the little bulldozers buttons to finish it off.

Round Ripple Baby Blanket

This round ripple baby blanket went super fast. I used 2 strands of yarn held together through out and a K hook. I used some of the Bella DK Tapestry yarn and Red Heart Soft Baby yarn in white.

I finished crocheting this sweater and hat tonight. I had some little dump truck buttons I got in a large lot of buttons from Ebay and think they are perfect for this little sweater.

Yellow Hearts Baby Blanket

I just finished crocheting this yellow hearts baby blanket tonight. This pattern from Leisure Arts and is titled "Tender Hearts". It was quite a challenge for me. I did a lot of frogging on this one so I am very glad it is finally done, and I am very happy with the results.

More Baby Sweaters

Here are 2 more baby sweaters and hats and one pair of booties. I did get some cute buttons to add to some of my sweaters. Even though I don't like sewing on buttons, they do add something extra to the sweaters.

I have shipped 24 baby hats to lil_troopers and 35 blankets and hats to Gods Tiny Angels. This will bring our donation total up to 588 so far this year!

2 Cuddle Sack with Matching Hats

I have crocheted 2 cuddle sacks with matching hats. Bubbles is modeling the multi-colored one that I crocheted with the shell stitch. The blue and white one is made with the twin stitch. I was running out of blue, so I saved a bit for the hat trim and finished the top of the sack with white, and most of the hat is white with the blue trim. I think it turned out pretty good.

I finished up this sweater today. It turned out very pretty. I used the Red Heart Sweet Baby yarn called Dream Girl.

I have been crocheting baby sweaters again. The peach sweater, hat and booties is made from Bernat Baby Sport. The blue and white sweater is from Red Heart Sweet Baby. The color is Swimmie. This if the first time using this yarn and I found it very soft and easy to crochet.
