Walking on the beach....

Here we are walking on the beach in the evening after a hard day of crocheting on a baby blanket.

Multi-colored Sweater and Hat Set

I used Baby Bee Little Britches yarn for this sweater and hat set. The color is called Crayons.

Mint Green Sweater Set

I finished up this Sweater and hat set this morning. I decided to make a matching head band using some of the stitches in the twin stitch sweater pattern and came up with this pattern that fits a 14" head. I call it the V Stitch Baby Headband.

Chain 60
Row 1: sc in 2nd chain from hook and across. (59 stitches) Chain 2 and turn.
Row 2: Skip first sc, 2 dc in next stitch, *skip 1 stitch, 2 dc in next stitch;
repeat from* across, ending with 1 dc in last stitch, chain 1 and turn.
Row 3: sc across and finish off. Sew seam. Add flower or other embellishment. I used Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn with a G hook.

What I have been working on

Well, we have made our move from Iowa to South Carolina finally. We are getting settled in our new home with our daughter Marie, and grandson Erick. I have been crocheting some baby things when I find the time. So here are my latest items. The two blankets with matching hats are preemie and the two sweater sets are new born size.
