30 Hat done by Frank

Frank has loomed knitted 30 more hats. He just keeps going and going.

Table Runner with Center Piece

I got another project from Annies Attic Craft Club and it was a table runner. I crochet it using single and triple crochet, then I had to learn a new stitch, reverse single crochet for the edging. Also I had to weave ribbon through the tripple crochet area. I watched a video on UTube to learn how. I think it turned our very nice and looked good with our fall center piece sitting on it.

100 Hats Shipped Today

Today we shipped out 100 hats that Frank has loom knitted. 50 went to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and another 50 went to Children and Families of Iowa. This puts our total donations well past the 500 mark! We will have to raise the bar for next year.

Frank has really been working away making hats and more hats. In this past week he loom knitted 24 hats! We drove up to West Virginia on Wed. and he made 4 hats in the 9 hour drive. Same on the drive home. He spends every spare minutes making hats. I will have to find new charities to give them all away!
