Well, Frank has kept me busy weaving in the ends of these 104 loom knitted Christmas baby hats. He made all these hats in about 20 days. I am now washing and bagging these hats to be donated to Gods Tiny Angels and lil-troopers.
I found this pattern for a gingham baby blanket at crochetpatterncentral after seeing someone post a picture of there blanket on Crochetville. I just added a ruffle onto the edgeing. It was a fun blanket to make.
Frank and I shipped 145 loom knitted and crocheted hats today to the Bridge and Beyond Project in Ohio and Children and Families of Iowa. It is such a good feeling to know we are helping to keep heads warm this winter.
I finished crocheting this baby blanket this morning. I used Mary Maxim yarn called Sugar Baby Stripes. It is so soft and easy to crochet with. The stripes made a very nice pattern in this round ripple.
I had been looking for a baby pullover sweater and couldn't find any I like, so I decided to design my own. They pattern is not written yet, but when I do get it written, I will post it here. The draw string pants are from a pattern by Pat I found on the web.
I finished crocheting this blanket last night. It is about 48 inches across, a little bigger than I had planned on making, but it will keep a little baby very warm this winter.
We shipped 2 boxes of baby items today containing 74 baby hats and 7 cuddle sacks. That puts out total donations over our 1000 goal for the year! We are so happy we are able to help so many this year.
Here is the last of our Halloween candy corn hats and cuddle sacks. I have started crocheting Christmas items and Frank will be loom knitting Christmas hats soon.
