I was laid low with a nasty virus for a few days but am much better now and my crochet hook is burning hot! Here are 3 diaper sets for baby boys that will be donated to Gods Tiny Angels. Now to make a couple sweater sets.

Pink Hearts Baby Blanket

I finally finished another baby blanket. It seemed to take forever. I made a few mistakes and had to rip it and re-do a few times. I used the popcorn stitch with an F hook and Bernat Baby Sport yarn. I am very please the way it turned out.

First Donation for 2012

We donated 40 baby hats, both newborn and preemie and 3 baby blankets to our local hospital today and we also donated 34 hats for Help 4 Kids and Backpack Buddies here in South Carolina along with food stuff. We are off to a good start for 2012.

Strawberry Pink and White Baby Blanket

Here is another granny square baby blanket using Strawberry Pink Red Heart Soft Baby Steps Yarn and white Pound of Love.

Zig Zag Baby Blanket

I really enjoyed crocheting this baby blanket in mint green using Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn. I purchased the pattern from a lady in Australia and it is written in British terms, but very easy to convert to US terms. I made a couple small changes to the original pattern by changing the turning chain and used a simple double crochet border.

2 Decorated Birdhouses

I have started a new hobby painting and decorating birdhouses. I was requested to share pictures of them here. I did the Mickey Mouse birdhouse first then the brick with vines next. This new hobby gives me a break form all the crocheting I do.

2 Granny Square Baby Blankets

Here are my latest granny square baby blankets. One is yellow and white and one is blue and white. I think I am addicted to doing granny squares. At least they will help to keep some babies warm.
