Round 1: Ch 4, slip st together, ch 2, (Do not count ch2 as
a stitch) 16 dc in center of ring, slip stitch to 1st dc. (16 dc)
Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in same st, 2 dc in each dc around, sl
st to 1st dc. (32 dc)
Round 3: Ch 2, dc in same st, *2 dc in next st, dc in next
st,* repeat from * around. Sl st in 1st dc. (48 dc)
Round 4: Ch 2, dc in back loop of same dc, dc in back loop
of each st around, sl st in both loops of 1st dc. (48 sts)
Round 5 – 10: Repeat round 4.
Round 11: Ch 1, sc in same st, sc around, sl st to join and finish off. Weave in any ends.
Take 2 strands of yarn about 36 inches each and using your
yarn needle wrap yarn from top of first round of ridge (round 4) and under the
edge of hat and pull tight. Wind it about 7 or 8 times to make your knot on the
turban. Secure yarn and weave in ends.

ReplyDeleteI like your pattern. I made one of these in white, then on the last row of single crochet I used lavender and did the knot in lavender. Turned out pretty cute. Thanks for the pattern!
