59 Baby Items Donated Today

We donated 59 baby items to our local hospital and Help 4 Kids program this morning. We love to hear the nurses oohing and awing when they look at the baby blankets, hats and cuddle sacks.

Sweet 'N Sunny Baby Blanket

Here is another little baby blanket I finished this afternoon. I used Bernat Baby Sport yarn with a Ghttp://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-Afghans/Rainbow-Baby-Afghan

hook. The color is called Sweet 'N Sunny. The pattern can be found here 

Turqua Baby Blanket and Matching Hat

I finished crocheting this baby blanket and matching hat last night while baby-sitting. I used Red Heart yarn, the color is turqua. I used the twin stitch pattern.

Twin Cuddle Sacks with Matching Hats

I used Baby Jacquards Florals to crochet these cuddle sacks and hats. Maybe our local hospital will have twin baby girls who would look so sweet in these.

Queen Size Bed Cover with Pillow Covers

Frank and I took on a big project to crochet daughter Marie and son-in-law Brent a queen size bedspread with matching pillow coverings. Marie picked the yarn. By taking turns crocheting we were able to finish it in 2 weeks. It turned out nice, but sure glad we are done! Happy 1st.

Mountains & Valleys Baby Blanket

I just finished another baby blanket that I started a few weeks ago. This one is called Mountains & Valleys. The pattern is from booklet I got from Walmart titled Car Seat Blankets. I just made it larger. It was a fun pattern, just lots of tails to weave in.

Granny Square Baby Blanket

I finally finished this granny square baby blanket tonight. I have been working on it off and on for over 2 weeks.
