I finally finished this baby blanket. It seemed like I was on it forever! I used 2 strands of yarn held together and crocheted in the back loops to give it that ridged look.
I ran across a pattern to loom knit a cuddle sack so of course, I had to make one. Frank made the matching hat on the baby loom. This yarn was donated by Paula S. through Gods Tiny Angels.
I used a new pattern for the yellow cuddle sack and it turned out a little larger than any other I've done. Hopefully there will be a extra large baby to give it to. The other one is the shell stitch with bubble gum pink.
We shipped 50 hats to the Bridge and Beyond Project today, plus 5 new born baby blankets and 2 sleep sacks with matching hats to Gods Tiny Angels. Our donation total is starting to climb.
I crocheted these two sleep sacks with matching hats for Valentines Day using the ripple pattern I purchased recently. They turned out very nice. I had trouble with the little red hearts, but finally got 2 that look like hearts!
I finished this Peaceful Pastels Baby Afghan tonight. I bought this afghan kit form Mary Maxim and I crocheted 2 strands held together with a K hook. It was fun and fairly easy to do. Some rows I used 2 different colors crocheted together to give it that blended color look.
I shipped a box of 123 items to Gods Tiny Angels today. There were 3 blankets, 7 sleep sacks, 52 hats, 46 pair of booties, 5 sweaters, 8 pair of mittens and 2 headbands.
This is the last of my booties and hats I will be crocheting for awhile. I will be working mostly on newborn size blankets as they are most needed right now.
